Jim Abel has obtained real estate broker licenses for California and Nevada.

He also holds general appraisal licenses for California and Oregon.

Temporary appraisal licenses can be obtained for all other states.

Jim Abel has achieved the following appraisal designations from both the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the Appraisal Institute. Both are well respected and nationally recognized appraisal organizations. To achieve the following designations, the individual must have met the following requirements: advanced coursework, experience, and met the highest levels of integrity.

ARA – This appraisal designation is promoted by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. An appraiser who has received the ARA designation is trained and tested for a wide spectrum of agricultural real estate valuation assignments.

The following are Appraisal Institute designations.

MAI – A well-respected designation that is obtained by motivated and knowledgeable individuals providing appraisal services for all types of real property.

SRA – A designation typically held by experts providing residential appraisal services.

AI-GRS – A designation awarded to experienced and knowledgeable review appraisers.
